Peplin?s lead cancer drug shows positive results against AML

Peplin Biotech Limited (PEP) today announced that its lead leukaemia molecule had shown highly selective activity against acute myelogenous leukaemia (AML) in pre-clinical studies. Peplin said that based on the results and other pre-clinical data it intended to prepare and lodge an IND application with the US FDA, to initiate clinical trials of an intravenous formulation of the drug to treat leukaemia.
