The p210Bcr/Abl and p190Bcr/Abl fusion oncoproteins are known to cause chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) and acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Bcr/Abl phosphorylates several proteins that can lead to leukemogenesis.
